This is the black, white, and black horizontal tri-band flag that was officially adopted on the 9th of November 1886 for the province of West Prussia. It is said that this flag was replaced with a "new" flag that included the historical Royal (Polish) Prussia Coat of Arms as shown below. The flag below was most likely used only during the twentieth centrry.
